More silly propaganda
I think we all remember the silly "don't spend a dime" protest. Now we have some more, dimwitted, wannabe activism. This is a quote I found on someone's livejournal:
"President Bush has just made a public announcment about homosexuality on CBS as of 02/23/05. George Bush is going to put a ban on homosexuals in the media because its "raising the future americans the wrong way" as he states in the interview. If we can get 200 people to sign this petition, we can get this bill not passed. Your help is really needed bad and we would appreciate it if you could sign the petiton to show how much you care. Once you get to 200 signatures, send it to killbillscene@yahoo.com
please make a difference in america! show us that you care!!! - Right Way Committee of America"
Riiiiiiiight. I can't believe that there's people out there that believe the president of the United States has the power to control the media. It's literally the first fucking amendment. Are you jackass wannabe hippies dumb enough to think he can ignore the fucking constitution? Our government is built on the checks and balance system. No one person has all the power. Think about it this way, if Bush could control the media, you think there'd be so many late night talk show Bush jokes? Fuck man am I the only person that remembers the show "That's My Bush"? Where the whole damn show was making fun of him. This part of the quote is HILARIOUS; " If we can get 200 people to sign this petition, we can get this bill not passed." You can't even compose a letter in proper english but you think you can change shit. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I miss the hippies of the Vietnam era. The ones that had a purpose and most of the time, a head on there shoulders. We have too many 15-19 year olds now jumping on any bandwagon with there uneducated "rage against the machine" mentality. Done...
